any idea making an diy ir reciever for canon 40d/50d ?
since i already follow done this diy transmiter i think to make it a set for it so my 40d can work for this software, if not it will be very wasted.
Hi Max, I’m not to sure how to create a DIY receiver but I think you can buy something like this for the 40D, I haven’t tested this with my app but If it receives the standard canon IR signal then it should work.
I thought DSLR.bot only supports Canon cameras?
Hi Doug, At the moment DSLR.Bot v2 supports canon only, however the next coming release of v3 will have Canon, Nikon and Sony.
I noticed… I’m looking forward to version 3.
Hi Jairus, I dont think it will work with the 50D because the camera doesn’t have and IR receiver. It works on the iPad though.
